Athlete set for Sanlam Cape Town virtual marathon

Mdansane born, Luthando Hejana is set to tackle the Sanlam Cape Town virtual marathon on Sunday, October 18.

Hejana, who ran seven races, covering some 250km will complete a full marathon distance of 42.2km from Stutterheim to East London.

He is running to raise funds to donate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for Zuzile Junior Primary School in NU8 Mdantsane.

This #RunForChange is backed by Hegana's athlete manager, Mpho Thando Phadime Betsha, who requests community support towards this initiative by donations or PPE supplies.

Betsha said that they will use the funds to buy PPEs and do a hand over to the school on Friday, October 23.

The monetary contribution will go straight to the Non-Profit Company L Hejana Development Fund. To contribute, people are urged to use the following account:
