EL’s Kondleka joins Generations

Former West Bank High School learner and East Londoner got a role on popular SABC soapie, Generations: The Legacy.

Sibusisiwe Kondleka (23), had a brief stint with the drama series Isithembiso on Mzansi Magic. Generations is watched by eight million viewers, five days a week.

She plays the character of Melokuhle as of December 5, 2019, her biggest role to date. The youngster left East London for Cape Town after matric in 2014 to study Public Relations and Communications at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT). After graduating, she moved to Johannesburg to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

“I think coming from East London, my story of ‘breaking into the entertainment industry’ would inspire youngsters with big dreams," said Kondleka.

One of her fans, Zaddy Zazz had this to say, “I'm not a Fan of Generations, nor even a fan of television, but I just watched the show to check you out and I must say, you are killing it, sis.”

Andanathi Nopikela Mhlakaza‎ said, “You killed it, honey, I'm watching even today. So proud.”
