Grey rain on Selborne's winning streak

Pictured above is Loyiso Peteni taking on the Grey defence in Selborne’s 23 -17 loss in Port Elizabeth on Saturday.

In what had hoped to be a fitting end to the Selborne first rugby team's fantastic season, did not materialise as they went down 23 -17. Having the wind at their backs, Selborne would have hoped to be in the lead at the end of the first half but found themselves 11 - 10 down.

The change of halves saw the psychological advantage now in Grey's favour and their ascendancy was evident in a number of clean line breaks in the backs.

With the try count at two a piece at full time, penalties conceded ultimately proved Selborne's undoing.
