BDSAA held a junior development competition on the 15th February at the East London Ski Boat Club. A total of 26 youngsters aged between six and 16 set out on 12 boats in absolutely perfect weather conditions.

With the guidance of the experienced skippers and assistants, all the juniors were very soon experiencing the thrills of bottom fishing. Some very nice fish were caught and all the entrants managed to get on the score board. What an awesome sight it was to see these youngsters enjoying themselves.

Border would like to thank the East London Ski Boat Club for hosting the competition and the use of their facilities at no charge, as well as all the skippers that made their boats, bait and equipment available to make this event such an amazing success.

Congratulations to all the juniors and transformation candidates for their participation and contributing towards a great day.
