Round 2: Border Kart season

Round two of the Border kart season and round one of the Regional kart racing series took place on Saturday the 7th of March at the East London Grand Prix track in windy conditions. This, however, did not affect the racing and some close exciting dices ensued.
There were seven classes raced namely the Bambino, Mini Rok, Micro Max, Junior Clubmans, Senior and Masters 125cc Clubmans and the Rotax DD2 classes. It was business as usual for Geoff Stephen’s as he took overall honors for the day in the Masters and Rotax DD2 class. One of the drivers of the day was young Lincoln Randall who easily one two of the thrid heats and finished second in the third heat to take overall win in the Micro Max class for the day.
The following drivers took overall honours in their respective classes; Caleb Moss (Bambino class), Red Scholtz (Mini Rok class), Kayden Crouamp (Junior Clubmans) and Brady Choudree (125cc Senior Class). The overall driver of the day was Ryan Gudmanz.
Saturday 2 May 2020 sees the BMSC Karting Round 3 Club Championships begin with the gates opening at 08h00. Entrance is R10 per spectator and there is a canteen offering good food and refreshments
