SA Motocross Champs, again!
South Africa retained its title as the Champions of the FMI African MXOAN Continental Motocross 2019. Breece Romans (14), a Selborne pupil was one of the riders at the competition that ran from August 21 until the first of September in Harare.
Despite being hit twice and riding in the scorching sun, Romans managed to finish the race and scored seventh place out of 22 riders in the 125cc class. Stuart Lang, Masters class came second place overall, Liam Botha 65cc class and Craig Kruger Masters class got a first place overall.
“It was a good challenge. I really enjoyed it and I did not sustain any injuries from getting hit,” said Romans. This year’s Motocross Africa saw 15-year-old Tanya Muzinda from Harare conquer in a “man’s world”, by being one of Zimbabwe’s “youngest” Motocross champions.
