Third Round South African Maths Challenge for Top Maths Students

For the first time in its history, the organisers of the South African Maths Challenge decided to run a third round in the competition.


It was held at Clarendon Primary School on 12 September. This Challenge is designed to test rational thought, logical reasoning and problem solving in Mathematics.


The third round was only open to the very high achievers from the second round. In the whole of the Amatola district, only 13 students qualified. Of these 13 students, 7 were from Clarendon Primary.
