Two dangerous escapees still on the loose

Two of the four suspects who escaped in Whittlesea were rearrested on March 11. The two escapees aged 28 and 31 escaped from lawful custody together at Whittlesea Police Station, near Komani.

According to the police, on realising that chances of a successful escape were very limited, one of the suspects Odwa Siqanqalala (28), surrendered himself to the police in the morning and the police managed to recover the firearm he had stolen during his escape.

Mzuvukile Mzimkulu (31) was also arrested at Sasa location. Investigation continues to establish the circumstances, motive for their escape and the location of the remaining two suspects who are still on the run.

The members of the community are once again warned not to attempt to apprehend these criminals as they are believed to be very dangerous and armed.

Anyone with information relating to the whereabouts of the wanted suspects must please contact the nearest police station or call the Crime Stop number 08600 10111.
