Vincent Hardware’s funfilled year-end
Vincent Hardware's year-end function on Wednesday evening was attended by no less than 450 people, comprising their loyal customers and suppliers.
With snack platters on offer, while the event got going, the free bar was a hive of activity the entire evening. The main course included a variety of delicious meats and salads with further tempting desserts for those that still had room.
Entertainment was provided by the nationally acclaimed Rob Van Vuuren and Louw Venter as their alter-egos 'Corne en Twakkie'.
They kept the audience thoroughly entertained with their antics including them carrying the prize winners on to the stage and then demanding they carry their prizes off, with some large items such as an ECO Water Tanks, welders and toolboxes, some of the attempts were hilarious.
Corne and Twakkie's rule was that if you wanted the prize you had to take it with you. They also introduced an ancient war cry that the audience had to shout out for each winner, it was quite simple, yet effective, “Kakaa, kakaaaa!”
Vincent Hardware gave away some amazing gifts in the lucky draw prizes as a showing of appreciation to their clients and suppliers.
Denver Bright of the Local Yokel Project enthused on what a fun event it was with such a huge and enthusiastic turnout. "Vincent Hardware really does represent the concept of 'Local is Lekker' and are very supportive of our community and local businesses," he added.
